Attraction

One of my acquaintances asked me why someone who is single never seems to attract attention from the opposite sex. Yet, when the same person is involved in a serious relationship, others beat a path to his/her door. 

Some believe that when you’re in a relationship you have more self confidence, and therefore carry yourself with more pride. That may be the case; however, I believe it’s because most people want what they cannot have. There’s a certain mystery about someone who’s unattainable. This stimulates an interest that had not previously existed.

A friend of mine asked me what I thought of her getting involved with a married man. I didn't want to preach, but I had to say, "Don't do it!" Many a man has claimed that he didn't love his wife, and that he wasn't sleeping with her, simply to get into the other woman's pants. Please don't be that foolish. Odds are, he's lying to you. He has no plans to leave his wife, especially if he can have her and you too. Don't allow yourself to be used.
